The Danish B2B platform provider Shape Games has been granted an iGaming vendor license in the state of Colorado.
This marks the company’s first-ever license in the US market and signals the company’s entry into the market.
Shape receives first US license
The Colorado Limited Gaming Control Commission, which regulates gambling in the state of Colorado, has approved Shape’s license application, setting the stage for future growth in the US.
With its Colorado license, Shape has managed to successfully enter the US gambling market.
The Danish company has already secured deals with several US operators including Bally’s Corporation, positioning the company to further expand its footprint in the North American gambling market.
Shape CEO Christian Risom said: “We’re very pleased to receive this approval as the first of multiple licenses we are pursuing in order to be a leader in gaming services to the US market.
“Colorado is one step in our plan to provide the leading consumer engagement platform for the gaming industry as it grows in the American market. Our clients say that our platform is the most modern, engaging, and consumer-focused engine in the industry. That stems from our origin as a consumer app developer working with companies like Apple, Red Bull and Ikea.”
Morten Tonnesen, Shape’s Chief Commercial Officer added: “Our focus is on bringing consumer app best practices to iGaming for the benefit of our partner operators and their customers. The customisable apps are designed with user experience at the heart of the design process and makes our apps competitive with the popular entertainment apps that are vying for time-starved consumers.”
